POLICE-LINK  is for business customers who have traditionally been targeted by criminals and need monitored duress alarms with a fast police. This service routes reliable alarm signals directly to the N.Z. Police Service and/or designated call out representatives. Customers will need to adjust their alarm systems to conform to the quality standards required by authorities to achieve a high level of creditability. For many years the N.Z. Police have had a national policy not to attend electronic alarms due to the high rate (95%) of false call which resulted in the waste of valuable Police resources. In 1992 Alarm New Zealand engineers developed "Police Grade" alarms which turned this situation around that such  engineered Alarm systems are over 80% reliable. Our company has a good working relationship with Police throughout the country and we have a procedure that enables our POLICE-LINK operators to call the Police based on information received from a "Police Grade" electronic alarm system. System Architects, designers and consulting security engineers prefer POLICE-LINK system as it offers a reliable technical solution that will be the future police monitoring standard for years to come. POLICE-LINK  allows for multiple building services to be delivered to the site simultaneously providing a single monitoring solution for Fire, Security, Video and Building Automation systems.  All types of broadband networks are supported including xDSL, FTTx, xG and WiX.
